2025
Year in Review
Concrete Cares of Nebraska achieved a significant milestone in 2025, as we surpassed 500 Nebraska families who have received financial support through our organization. Because of the year’s strong fundraising efforts, we were able to provide $50,800 in direct assistance to 65 families.
Impactful Events
Our fundraising achievements were made possible through collaboration with our supportive donors, volunteers, and partners to host a series of community events throughout the year:
- April – Annual Concrete Cares of Nebraska UTV Poker Run, Burwell
- July – Annual Concrete Cares of Nebraska Golf Tournament at Fairplay Golf Course, Norfolk
- September – Kyle Poff Legacy Golf Tournament at Buffalo Ridge Golf Course, Kearney
- October – “A Haunting Hunt” Trap Shoot at Oak Creek Sporting Club, Brainard
The September tournament held special meaning. Formerly led by our founder and late President, Kyle Poff, the event was renamed in his honor following his passing in June. This tribute reflects Kyle’s lasting influence on our mission and the compassion he brought to every effort on behalf of Nebraska families.
Leadership Transitions
Kyle’s loss brought significant change to our organization, prompting thoughtful restructuring to ensure continued strength and stability. During our July board meeting, members voted to expand the board to 10 members and confirmed new leadership roles:
- Randy Wortman – President
- Stan Poff – Vice President
- Jereme Montgomery – Secretary/Treasurer
Their leadership, along with the dedication of our full board, positions Concrete Cares of Nebraska for continued growth and impact in the years ahead.
