Concrete Cares of Nebraska is proud to announce that as of Dec. 1st 2015, In only three short years of being formed, we have donated $21,000.00 to local Nebraska families battling cancer. This effort has only been made possible by the outstanding support from YOU our Members of the NC&AA, ACI Nebraska, and the local community in Nebraska. Your efforts and support do not go unnoticed we salute and thank each and every one of you! These events include our Annual Concrete Cares of Nebraska Kick-Off Event, The Tri-City Storm Hockey Jersey Auctions, Breakfast with Santa, Roadway Heroes, and merchandise sales. We are very pleased and blessed for what we have accomplished and are extremely excited for what the future will bring.

This past December, in addition to donating $8,000.00 to the 4 families that were stricken with cancer, we also chose to help these families have a better Christmas Holiday. The Paula Rathman family has 2 young boys 4 and 6, Vicente Tejeda family has a 5 year old. For these 2 families Concrete Cares with your support obtained a Christmas wish list from these children and purchased over $750.00 (approx. $250.00/each child) worth of Christmas gifts for them so that their parents could give them a nice Christmas morning without the worry and stress. The other 2 recipients Sheryl Maxson and Randy Schultz whose children are all grown each received $500.00 Visa Cash Cards to help out with their Christmas expenses. We also received 4 beautiful jewelry items donated by Erika Godfrey of Hawthorn Jewelry in Kearney, so that the husbands of these families would have a nice gift for their spouse this Christmas.

In addition, Stan Poff of Kearney Concrete Company recently donated a 2016 Polaris SlingShot this year to Concrete Cares of Nebraska, which is currently being customized into a custom Concrete Cares awareness machine. This promotional tool will attend care shows, parades and events all over the State.
